Alison Meaney is a self-taught American impressionist with a nuanced background spanning the continent as well as a myriad of careers which color her paintings and influence their themes.
Alison’s body of work is intentionally diverse in subject matter, directing attention to awe inspiring landscapes, portraits of her favorite people as well as abstracts, which explore organic themes.
A youth spent exploring mountains and experiencing live music affected her vibrant color palate as well as a loose, emotive style.
