I’m a Chicago-based artist whose work draws deeply from the nature, traveling the world, and the dynamic energy of street art. Largely self-taught, I create paintings and mosaics which blend intricate craft with the expressive freedom of bold strokes and patterns. My art is strongly influenced by place, with many of my best works painted on site or from photos taken on the road.

In my artistic practice, I’m drawn to organic, botanical, and landscape themes that evoke a sense of place and connection to nature. Each piece reflects my commitment to sustainability through materials sourced from local organizations including the Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange, Zero Landfill Chicago, the Chicago Tool Library, as well as the trusty alleys. By working with reclaimed and responsibly-sourced supplies, I’m able to craft unique, environmentally-conscious works which blend natural inspiration with an industrial edge.
Check out a recent interview with Bold Journey Magazine, which touches more on the inspiration behind the work, my creative process, and upcoming projects.
